Hinz Company Enhances Inspection Capabilities with Advanced CX3-2300S-V15 Zoom Stereo Microscope System

Created at : Apr 11, 2025

In line with its commitment to precision and quality, Hinz Company is excited to announce the acquisition of a powerful new asset for its inspection and quality control department: the CX3-2300S-V15 7.5X–45X Zoom Stereo Microscope Inspection System. This state-of-the-art equipment further strengthens Hinz Company’s capabilities in delivering exceptional accuracy for complex, high-tolerance CNC machined components.

Elevating Precision Inspection

The CX3-2300S-V15 is engineered for high-performance visual inspection, combining enhanced optics, advanced imaging technology, and ergonomic design. Its upgraded stereo microscope head, capable of 7.5X to 45X magnification, provides detailed views of fine features and machined surfaces—essential for industries requiring micron-level inspection.

The system includes WF10x eyepieces and supports simultaneous use of the camera and eyepieces, making it ideal for both real-time visual inspection and documentation. Whether used by a single operator or for team-based quality assurance, this configuration delivers flexibility and ease of use.

Modern Imaging Without the Complexity

Unlike many systems that require a PC or complex software setup, the CX3-2300S-V15 functions independently. It features a spacious 11.6-inch TFT-LCD color display capable of 1080p HD resolution, powered by a high-performance SONY IMX335 5MP CMOS sensor. This sensor delivers crisp, full-resolution still images (2592 x 1944) and fluid HD video capture at 30 FPS (1920 x 1080p).

With HDMI and flash drive output built in, captured data can be quickly saved, shared, or displayed—streamlining workflow and improving traceability during inspection processes.

Built for Operator Comfort and Versatility

Precision inspection often requires extended focus and control. That’s why the system comes mounted on a premium dual-arm boom stand, offering fingertip-effort motion and stable positioning. This ergonomic design reduces operator fatigue and ensures stability when working with intricate parts or assemblies.

Additionally, the system supports auto-sensing input power from 100V to 240V, allowing it to function seamlessly in a range of shop environments without requiring manual adjustment or special configurations.

A Strategic Investment in Quality

This acquisition marks another step in Hinz Company’s continued investment in the latest manufacturing technologies. By integrating the CX3-2300S-V15 microscope inspection system into its operations, Hinz not only boosts inspection precision but also enhances its ability to meet the stringent quality standards demanded across the industries it serves.

From medical and aerospace components to precision automotive parts, customers can expect the same Hinz commitment to excellence—now backed by even more advanced inspection technology.
