Custom CNC Turning of Plug Assembly for the Hydraulic Industry

The Hinz Company is well known for providing both reliable and cost-effective service in the area of machining and component assembly. Hinz was recently retained by the largest pump supplier in the world, to construct a custom plug assembly to be used within a hydraulic application. Holding a (±) .001 of an inch precision tolerance, we employed our advanced CNC turning technology and assembly services to successfully manufacture this unit based on customer supplied drawings.

Utilizing an advanced CNC lathe equipped with live tooling and sub spindle capabilities, Hinz manufactured the steel plug assembly in one step and in under three minutes of un-manned time.

Once machining was complete, we provided the plug with a corrosion resistant zinc coating. After a series of dimensional checks to ensure that the part met exact client specifications, three o-rings were carefully assmbled onto the part and then packaged for shipment to our customers location in North Carolina.
