Custom CNC Multi-Axis Machining of Port for Flow Meter Industry
Contracted by a flow meter industry leader, The Hinz Company constructed a multi-axis turned brass flow meter port used for commerical flow meter applications. Produced from brass, this part was manufactured using advanced CNC multi-axis turning equipment, capable of holding (±) .001 of an inch precision tolerance.
The brass flow meter port after run complete in our CNC multi-axis turning department is carefully transported to our deburr department. There it is carefully cleaned of all machining oil, stripped of sharp burrs, and treated to prevent tarnishing. Final steps include performing a series of dimensional checks to ensure that the parts meet exact customer and FAA specifications as well as protective netting to ship carefully to customer.
